Beneficiaries for 2011 EMS Benefit Golf Tournament

	*Winona Cometsevah* – is a 30+ year EMT that is currently the EMT Supervisor of Thoreau Ambulance. At the first of the year she was diagnosed with lymphoma and is undergoing Chemotherapy. Chemotherapy has been hard on her and she is currently unable to work. She has used all of her sick leave and annual leave. She has to travel to and from treatments and other appointments frequently and fuel costs have been a financial hardship.
	*Rennie McRight* – is a Flight Nurse/Emergency Nurse with San Juan Regional AirCare in Farmington. Rennie was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer and is currently undergoing Chemotherapy. She is a single mother of two young children and is unable to work. This situation has caused a financial burden for her family.
	*Colin Emmit* – is the 2-year-old son of Brian Lax who is a Motion Picture Set Paramedic residing in Santa Fe. Colin was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, a very rare de novo (first generation) genetic defect which prevents the body from suppressing tumor growth. Colin has tubers (non-cancerous tumors) in his eyes, heart, skin, and most significantly in his brain. Epilepsy is the prominent common symptom of his condition, along with substantial developmental delays. There is no cure for this lifelong condition. They are very fortunate to have health insurance which covers the majority of his care but the travel expenses and co-pays are putting pressure on the family's financial resources.
